cousins!!!

My kids got to spend time with their cousins this week. We loved having them over. We saw two movies: Kung Fu Panda and Wall-E and also went to chuck e cheese. We can't wait to do it again! (ok-well maybe after a small break :)

rich or in debt??

We posted our expedition on southeasttexas.com Saturday and sold it Saturday. The guy drove from Houston and paid in cash. My kids, mainly Tray and Rylee, loved holding the money. Rylee thought we were rich. Tray must have informed her otherwise because she asked us if we were rich or in debt. Haha.. I wish we were rich but unfortunately we are not.

Brooke won!

So, I haven't actually seen the finale of Farmer Wants a Wife, but Tiffany informed me that Brooke won. How exciting and I can't wait to watch it!

Crazy Boy

Each Sunday after sacrament, the kids take off to primary without us. I'm in primary so whenever I make it to the primary room, I always make sure that all the kids made it to their seats and are seating with their class. Yesterday, I made it to the primary room and found Rylee & Tray but no Triston. Guess where Triston was? Yep, in the nursery playing with all the toys. He fit right in and I don't know if the nursery leader even notice that he wasn't suppose to be in there. He said that he was too tired to go to his class. However, he did go to his class. After church I always ask the kids what their lesson was about and he always says "goldfish." (Goldfish crackers are what they eat for their snack.)

Smiley face pancakes & putt putt golf

Ray planned a much needed surprise for us today. He told everyone to get dressed and he had a surprise for us. We tried to get it out of him where he was taking us, but he wouldn't tell. He said that we would have fun.(That was our only hint!) I have to admit that Ray doesn't normally do things like this. I really liked the fact that he planned something for us without my help. He took us to play putt putt golf and we really had a good time. It was nice to get out of the house. We finished our night with smiley face pancakes. Tray told me that he would hate to die and when I asked him why he said because his life was perfect. That made me feel good.

My television obsession

Photobucket

I love watching this reality show! I probably would have never got into this show had it not been for the fact that one of the girls on this show is a high school classmate's sister. I don't even get the CW network so I have to watch it on the internet so I'm like one episode behind. From what I understand Brooke is one of the final two. Can't wait to see the final two episodes. Go Miss B!

The kids finally got their hair cut!

The kids were way overdo for a hair cut. We can now see Tray's eyes. They are so pretty or should I say handsome. Rylee's hair drama has been fixed! We cut it short and gave her bangs. We have threatened her for a while now that we were gonna cut it short because she doesn't like to fix it and she thinks it looks so beautiful to leave a strand of hair covering up one of her eyes. We didn't force her to cut it. She actually wanted it cut, and now that it is cut she has decided she doesn't like her bangs. (Probably because she has figured out she can't cover up one of her eyes with her hair.)

Rylee is 6

After a long week at camp, we ended it with a birthday party for Rylee. Ray was a big help because he got everything ready. He did the food and decorating! He did such a good job and took so much stress off me that I will let him be in charge of the birthday parties from now on :)

Since Rylee is six, we came up with six things that we love about her..........

1. She loves to use her imagination

2. She loves to sing. Her new favorite song is Taylor Swift's "Our Song"

3. She giggles alot.

4. She should have been born a blonde. Even her school teacher told me that.

5. She is friendly and always says hi to people she knows from school when we run into them at Wal-Mart.

6. She is daddy's princess!!

We Survived Cub Scout Day Camp!!

This week has been so long to say the least. I have helped out at cub scout day camp this week. It was in Silsbee and I don't think that we made it on time one time this week.(no surprise) It was called operation day camp. They divided the boys up into platoons. Each platoon came up with their own camp flag and a jody(chant or song). I helped with a couple different platoons. The last couple of days at camp, I was able to help in Tray's platoon and I enjoyed being with him. We did have a fun time. Tray earned five belt loops and accomplished many achievements in the bear book. Everyday Tray got to swim, except Monday, but he got to play in a blow up water slide. Everyday they got to go to the rifle range. At the rifle range, they alternated shooting bb guns and bows and arrows. One day I tried to shoot a bb gun and I didn't do good at all. The girl that I helped hit the bulls eye every shot so she gave me her paper so I could bring it home to trick Ray. I don't know if he was all that impressed because he asked me how close was I. Everyday they did a craft. Tray made his own fishing pole and went fishing. They had Greg Bostwick, the weather man, come talk to them. One day the coast guard came and talked to them and even brought a boat that they got to climb on. Thank goodness this week is over! Did I mention that most of our time at camp was spent outside???

Flower Girl Pro

Rylee was in another wedding this weekend. Her cousin Tara asked her to be one of her flower girls. Tara had another flower girl named Rylee but she was too young to throw flowers. She was pulled down the isle in a wagon. I thought it was cool that both Rylees spelled their names the same and their birthdays are one day apart. The wedding was beautiful. I promised Rylee a happy meal if she smiled big and did good. I think that she was concentrating some much on smiling that she forgot to throw her flowers until she was half way down the isle. The good thing about the wedding was that I didn't have to buy another dress, she wore the same one from Tiffany's wedding. The only thing that I paid for was her $25 hair do.
